- Tasty & comfortable, but only basic and small portions
An Italian restaurant might not seem like a first choice in Uzbekistan, but this place felt like an oasis of western standards in Central Asia - while prices were still acceptable. They had an English menu, and the staff was also English-speaking and very engaged. We ate vegetable shashlik and a (rather thin) cheese-less pizza on the comfortable terrace, which featured cooling water spray. Shishas are available outside, and inside is a karaoke bar and a shop.
