• Very vegan-friendly, and tasty, too

Don't let the word "bar" scare you: the Evason's bar restaurant is a proper restaurant and in fact a very good one, with the best vegan selection in the Pran Buri area. The extensive menu clearly marks all vegan items with an icon of a pair of leaves, and many of the servers seem to understand what "vegan" means. Vegan-by-design offerings include: • Grilled polenta with avocado (excellent) • Thai red curry with konjac (quite good) • Mango and avocado salad (quite good) • Zucchini pasta with tomato sauce and chickpeas (good) • Vietnamese fresh spring rolls (good) If you get a table near the entrance, you can see and hear the ocean. Live music on Saturday night. Service is very warm and helpful. Credit cards are accepted (but there's also an ATM on the resort grounds).
