• Vegan paraíso en Las Palmas

Since I upgraded myself from vegetarian to vegan since I visited Gran Canaria 3 years ago, I was a little anxious I wouldn't find a vegan restaurant in Las Palmas. To my suprise Bioloco was not only a vegan restaurant nearby my hostel, but it was one of the best I have ever visited. Bioloco's menu is divers, consisting of big salads, burgerlike stuff, side dishes and a wide range of drinks, such as juices, teas/coffees, beers and wines. All dishes are very tasty and colourful, making it a feast for your taste buds as well for your eyes. And of course all vegan, biological and as local as possible. The restaurant has a "semi-industrial meets 1950's Paris" look, resulting in spacious but cozy atmosphere. What really warms up the place though are the owners and the rest of the staff. They are very open, friendly and helpful. Their zest for life shines through into Bioloco! Updated from previous review on 2016-09-25
