- Good lunch place.
As the description says, it's Hare Krishna affiliated. You can buy their books if you want to but there is no proselytization going on. A godsend (or Krishna-send), since this area is a total disaster for people who do not consume animals. They offer a daily lunch buffet with about 8 choices plus salad and fruit and a couple different samosas, sweet and salty varieties. Payment for the buffet is by weight, the samosas are roughly $1 each. The food is good and mostly or exclusively vegan. On weekends the buffet is the brazilian national dish Feijoada in vegetarian and vegan versions (labeled). Seating is outdoors - in the shade (about 10 tables). It does not appear they are open in the evenings; maybe for special events.
