  • Nice option to satisfy that comfort food craving

There are many vegan options at ZPizza, so you can easily recapture those pre-vegan pizza gorging days that you sometimes miss. One thing I don't like is the pricing. Substitutions will cost you! Vegan cheese option is WAY over priced, especially given that they could use a LOT less cheese and not pass the costs onto the customer. I think they use WAY TOO much cheese-- it get gooey and slimy in your mouth-- so I ask them to use half the normal amount. You will not get a discount for this, but at least you will not drown on cheese. The most economical option is the Berkeley Vegan, which comes complete with lots of toppings and Daiya cheese at no extra charge. If you were to order the same number of toppings and the vegan cheese a la carte, this would be a pricy pizza! I highly recommend the Tuscan. It is a garlic sauce, with different kinds of mushrooms, cheese, and truffle oil. Very rich! The Mexican pizza is very good as well - you can substitute veggie crumbles for the sausage.
