Original (3 stars): A family outing called for a visit to this pub I called ahead to check if they served vegan options and they promised their three bean chilli was 100% vegan! When got there some of the servers were confused by what vegans were but the head chef and two of the servers did understand and I ended up with a lovely vegan chilli! It wasn't the best meal I have ever had but it was still good! It is nice to have a pub with a vegan option! Update (4 stars): Now when you go and mention Vegan they hand you an allergen booklet and turn to a page titled vegan, pretty much all staff are now educated on veganism. They offer many vegan wines as well as vegan chilli, sizzling veggies and others. Now a great choice! No longer really need to call ahead.
