- OK, but limited vegan options
The DFW branch of the Ling & Louie's chain is less vegan-friendly than some of its non-airport cousins, but probably is the best veg option in Terminal A (though not the best at DFW; that honor goes to Izmir in Terminal D). Note: The menu doesn't reveal this, but my server kindly informed me that most of their sauces contain fish/oyster sauce, unfortunately, including the peanut sauce. On my visit, however, they were kind enough to substitute a simple soy sauce. The taste wasn't anything to write home about, but it was a perfectly acceptable vegan airport meal and i was grateful for their willingness to accommodate my dietary needs. If you have a long layover at DFW, i'd suggest taking the train over to Terminal D to eat at Izmir (near gate D11) instead, but L&L's will do fine in a pinch - just ask about animal products in the sauces.
