This place has a nice inviting diner vibe. It has a bakery case up front and a bar + a handful of tables for diners in the back. I ordered the seitan platter, which is like a chicken-fried seitan accompanied with mushroom gravy, sauteed greens, and potatoes. I was a little bit disappointed with the seitan. I thought it would have more of a meaty texture, but the interior ended up breaking apart a bit too easily. That said, it was a satisfying, hearty meal, and the herbs and spices were quite nice. I would definitely come back again to try something new. Their menu is not super extensive, but everything on it sounds delicious. The hardest part about this meal was choosing between the many wonderful options - burrata, polenta fries, chilaquiles, fritatta, pierogi, and so on and so on. Plus, they carry a bunch of baked goods - both savory and sweet - that are utterly delicious.
