• I want to be more positive

I generally try and focus on the positives for reviews. There are not many vegan options out there and it's good to support places that provide for us. So the good points for Manna include a good location, great ambience and a wide menu. There are not any other five star vegan or vegetarian places in London. For the negatives, I went on what must have been the hottest day of the English year and had to ask for water. We then got two glasses which were not replenished at any point. We had to get up and help ourselves at the bar. Not great. The food was interesting and creative. i could be wrong but the croquettes seemed a bit pre-prepared. The desert portions were also extremely small for the price. We ate the croquettes, the carribean platter and special of the day, which was a nice tofu dish. We got deserts to take away bit had to ask for a plastic bag to carry the containers. Overall. manna is set up the nicest of any vegan place in London. It has an interesting menu and can be great. I write these criticisms not to detract from its good points but to let the restaurant know that they do ask a reasonable price for their experience. It probably needs to make sure service matches this.
