  • Manna mia (sorry)

Me and my partner visited Manna while staying in Camden Town... easily one of the food highlights of our trip to London. We heard that it was the oldest veggie restaurant in London and it seemed quite prestigious so we had high exceptions, which I'd say were met. We decided to book and good thing we did, as it was busy even on a Tuesday evening. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We both had the lasagne which was gorgeous although they may have gone a bit overboard with the tomato sauce, which overpowered the other flavours until you cleared it a bit. For dessert my partner had the cheesecake of the day (coffee and chocolate) which really tempted me but in the end I went for the semi-freddo... three different flavours of vegan ice cream layered with cookie dough topped with fresh berries and coulis anyone? Gosh, I loved it, tasted so good. Very photogenic also. Sung my praises in the little message book on the way out, great experience.
