Bravo to the Bruno and Alison, two very courageous people to open a vegetarian restaurant in Beaune, in the heart of a traditionally very meat and potato region. I'm still in shock! I've been twice and am hoping that I'm not dreaming up a vegetarian restaurant. The interior space is full of light and cleanly furnished, unusual for restaurants here, which tend to be dark and too often pretentious. The ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible. One price buys the all you can eat vegetarian comfort food hot and cold buffets. Drinks and desserts are additional, but reasonably priced. My second experience was especially good because of a delicious broccoli coconut milk gratin and a Chinese cabbage feta casserole. Since it's a buffet, there's not a wait staff, but someone is always accessible to answer questions, allow you to pay, or help if you need it. We have a new little gem in the crown jewels of Beaune!
