- Very stylish and upmarket tea house / restaurant
As soon as you enter you notice the attention to detail. This is also true for the presentation of the food as well as the table ware and surroundings. We sat downstairs which has 3 tables, each seating 4 people. They are separated by see through curtains so you get a feeling of privacy. Ordering tea is not easy, as they don't have an English menu. They have 2 menus: One for tea ceremonies starting at 118 yuan up to well over 600yuan for 2 persons. The other menu is for single cups of tea (free refill of water) starting at 48yuan. They won't give that to you at first (we overheard a team meeting where they explained this to the staff ;)). Just ask for "dan bay" and then point at one of the first 4 items ;) The tea is very yummy and well worth the money! Ordering food is a lot easier as they have pictures with prices on a tablet to choose from. The presentation of the food is great and it is very tasty. As for spiciness: Everything we had was quite ok, even though it came with chili sauces etc. So no worries. Prices range from 20-70 yuan per dish. Sizes are ok, but not big. This is definitely not a cheap place! The atmosphere as well as the attention to detail make that up for me though. You can also buy the tea for home afterwards as this is also a shop. Weirdly enough they sell clothes at the upper floor.
