  • Ordered a vegan pizza

They used Daiya mozzarella and charge extra for it. Not really a criticism of the business but the person who made the pizza behaved awkwardly when I asked for the vegan cheese. Meh. I suspect that forgoing the "v-word" and asking for the "dairy free cheese" wouldn't have elicited a quip. Somewhat annoying but probably isolated occurrence. A good number of non-animal toppings available. I've been to some amazing vegan-friendly pizza shops elsewhere and it's not like that, but still a welcome addition to this area. I think adding one or more vegan options to their "protein" list would take it to the next level. (Ideas: vegan sausage, vegan pepperoni, falafel, smoked tempeh.) Bottom line: A standard but above average pizza shop with Daiya. Updated from previous review on 2016-08-28
