- Very friendly cafe
Visited twice when on holiday in Devon recently. The first time was just before closing time on New Year’s Day but the owner was welcoming and I enjoyed coffee and vegan cake. Went back again on another day to try their lunch menu – they have a separate vegan menu, plus soya milk, soya cream, dairy free margarine, vegan icecream. I chose the chickpea dhal with banana which I had with a jacket potato – tasty, generous portion and it came with a nice side salad. There were lots of locals enjoying lunch/coffee which is always a good sign. It is located on a pedestrianised street with tables outside which would be nice in the summer.
