- Fast, friendly, and delicious
I went here for lunch after learning about it from the folks at the Wedge Pizzeria down the street. While they do serve meat, there are a number of vegan options. I had the Guard Dog, which is two field roast dogs dipped in vegan masa corn batter and served with maple mustard. I subbed in naked tater tots for the house made chips. One of the things I have missed since going vegan is corn dogs, and wow did this hit the spot! The batter was crispy, not too bready, and a beautiful golden brown. Even better was the service: Meg was wonderfully friendly and attentive, and even offered me a to-go cup of my soda. My entire bill was about $11. As for the beer selection, there were at least 20 varieties on the board in addition to the many on the menu. I recommend the local Black Mesa ESB, which is like if a stout and an IPA had a love child. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular!
