- Large bar/cafe with vegan menu
Cappello Lounge is part of a chain of large bar/cafes serving drinks and food throughout the day. We ate here last Sunday and were pleased to find a separate vegan menu. I had a selection of three vegan tapas but also available were a Thai Vegetable Curry and a Falafel Burger. Vegan desserts, including a Dark Chocolate and Ginger Torte and a Fruity Flapjack, were on the menu although we were not hungry enough to order them. You order at the bar and service was prompt and friendly. The Lounge was very busy, possibly because there are few other places open in Newcastle on a Sunday.
