  • Tasty Indian Food in Tokyo

I tried Indian food several times while visiting Tokyo, and Masala was by far the best. It is located a very short walk from Aomono-Yokocho Station, in a non-touristy part of the city, with good hours open 7 days a week. I came for dinner and had the sag paneer and cheese nan. Both were very satisfying. They also have reasonably priced meal sets, including at least two vegetarian ones with rice and salad in addition to curry and plain nan, for ¥1000. An English menu is available, and the staff spoke very good English. The kitchen is located right next to the dining room, so you can see the chef make the dishes right before your eyes. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience here. I didn't ask about vegan food, but it looks like it could be made relatively easily.
