- Vegan markings all over the menu!
Korean and Korean fusion cuisine is so good, but so often only a couple items are vegan. Not here! No second class diners here, veg*n friends! They don't default to smothering everything in skme mayo-based anything, so take heart. When you look at the wall menu, it is clear: veggies are vegan. Protein choice is limited to tofu, but it is good and local. Because you make your own (1 of the 6 pre-made mixes is veg, the Herbivore- all vegan), there are dozens of possibilities. You can have anything in veg format, anything!!! One of the sauces is cream based, but the hot sauce and carrot ginger are fair game for vegans. The choices are bibimbap with white or purple rice, a seaweed burrito, a salad or tacos with corn tortillas. Opt for tofu or not, rice or not, any or all of the veggies like kimchi, radishes, kale slaw, cucumbers, carrots, corn, add some toppings like sesame, roasted garlic, cilantro and/or scallions and top with sauce. Brilliant and so vegan friendly. Love it! Add avocado for an extra charge. Yum!
