- Actually states that they have vegan options
It's very rare to see the words 'vegan options available' in Townsville, but Zambrero uses them. Very much a sandwich-style bar, but with burritos instead of sandwiches, Zambrero is great for grabbing food on the go. Get double beans and rice for a super-packed filling. A couple of times that I've been some of the staff haven't been a 100% sure what 'vegan' means. Although it's not hard to explain, I usually expect that when a place advertises vegan options, their staff know what those options are. Unfortunately they don't have vegan cheese and sour cream options.
