• Misleading Marketing

I saw this restaurant after walking past and noticing the green signs over the door and front window which caught my attention. These repeat each other and include the words "organic", " vegetarian" and "vegan". We went on for breakfast and I was disappointed to discover that they not only had no vegan option for breakfast, but they had no vegetarian option either. I asked if they could make me a vegan breakfast and they said no. We walked past later that day and saw the options for lunch posted up on the door - neither of these were vegetarian or vegan either. The only vegan options I saw were a hummus and red pepper sandwich and a fruit bowl. I ordered the latter but feel certain from the tang that it was left over from the day before and had not been prepared fresh that morning. The two stars are for a nice environment to eat in and for the coffee, which was great.
