• Impressed!

Having been before the refurb, although the food was good, the place was in dire need of redecoration. I saw on social media they were closing for the refurb and would be opening with a fully vegan food menu. Fantastic news! I revisited for lunch once they'd reopened. The pub now has a lovely fresh feel. Still two separate lounges and a little outdoor seating area upstairs for those sunnier days. I really liked the options on the menu, take note they only serve a roast dinner on Sunday's and not the full menu. Although there are several roast dinner options. I opted for the chickn, stuffing and mayo sandwich with chips. Very happy with the price, quality and the portion was pretty big! Service was also quick. Good selection of vegan drinks, both soft and alcoholic, on offer too. No hesitation at all in returning again.
