• Excellent food!!!

This is a fabulous restaurant in one of the coolest areas of Copenhagen, absolutely beautiful food, well worth the money :) Very slightly hard to find because it feels like you're going into flats ... its through a doorway above atlas bar with 'Urten' signs either side of the doorway... a giveaway! Really friendly staff; the chef served us as it was a quiet night (lucky us!) and we sat in the window looking out over the passers by. We had bread and olive oil ... Tasty brown bread in special thyme olive oil to dip from a little cocktail glass. We had a main course each and brought a dessert home in a box. The whole menu is vegan which is great for me!! My non vegan husband enjoyed the meal massively too! I had lasagne which had green pulses and came with small salads (shredded cabbage and toasted almonds, yellow beetroot shavings, guacamole and tomatoes salad) ... every mouthful was delicious! My husband had mushroom risotto which tasted great!! He also had some salad on his but I was too busy with mine to notice!! I had a delicious glass of vegan red wine and he had two bottles of apple juice because it was so yummy! We couldn't have had a nicer time, please visit, even if you're not vegan it's delicious and friendly ... what more could you want!! :)
