• Happy Three Day Ritual...

We were in Blenheim for three days and ate here every morning. As a ritual... With good reason... Excellent and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Great coffee. The only drawback is that, as of our days there, none of the main menu items were both GF and vegan. One or the other, no problem, but not both. They were happy to modify dishes, however, so you can make it work if those are your restrictions. "Greens on Toast" is delicious, but the GF bread has egg in it, so they modified it to include their Mexican beans instead of bread. Their vegan "Huevos Rancheros" are also really good, but if you need it GF, you need to sub in the corn tortilla for the GF bread. I actually think they could make that a GF vegan dish by itself. Load up the tortilla with the beans, guacamole, and salsa and you have a GF vegan burrito. Call it the "Southern Californian" or, more accurately, the "Annoying American." :) Tons of good looking sweets in the cabinet, but they all had nuts in them, so I couldn't give them a try.
