• good food, but sketchy service and pricey

The food here was really good - the menu looked great and had a lot of variety. The place was a bit fancy rather than cosy but it was nice enough and had a great bathroom and terrace area. My main gripes were that the prices were kind of obscene, and the service was borderline bad. It takes a lot for me not to tip but I didn't here. The service was slow and dismissive, the waitress was quite rude, and we were actually told when we sat down that we would have to leave within 45 minutes because we weren't ordering main food, even though the place was completely empty. When we did leave it was still only half full. Considering the choice of vegan places in east London (go to Black Cat or Boxpark) I wouldn't choose to go back here.
