  • The best vegan fast food place in Tokyo

For food, this is 5 stars. I'm pretty sure this is the best burger I've had in Tokyo [Edit as of Feb 2017: Mr Farmer's burgers are on the same level.] Definitely better than Hanada Rosso and Island Veggie Burger. I haven't had the one from Veganic in Roppo yet. But in any case, this was a very good burger, even my omni friends want to go again. It's pretty substantial, comes with generous toppings and the cheeseburger version comes with a really cheesy sauce. The patty is on the soft side (as they usually are if they don't use seitan) but all the tastier for it. My lunch buddies also loved the burrito salad bowl. I had the mixed salad and that was very good too although I could do without the bland soy nuggets. The muffin was top notch. Atmosphere is nice and the price is most definitely right. The only thing that bothered me were the very uncomfortable stools to sit on (no backrest, and too small) and the absence of separate tables (there is only one long communal table, plus one long counter along the window). The lack of comfort is really a downer. With better chairs and separate tables this would be one of my absolute favorites in Tokyo. Hope they will open another restaurant with the same menu but better furniture elsewhere. Shibuya please, or Futakotamagawa! EDIT APRIL 2016: came back and this time they had a sort of thousand island / "Aurora" sauce on the burger I didn't care for. Next time I'll ask them to skip that. WTF!
