In five weeks, this is the best veg food I have eaten in Costa Rica. I was in Monteverde for two days and I ate here twice! The staff was super nice and the food was incredible. I had the Mediterranean platter the first time I visited, and the veggie burger with homemade potato broccoli soup on my second visit. Veggie burgers have a tendency to be kinda meh, but theirs was really moist and flavorful. The soup was also great, and the Mediterranean platter was a huge plate of food full of fresh flavors! I can't say enough good stuff about this place. If you're vegetarian, eat here! If you're not, still eat here! The smoothies and vegan ice cream are really good, too (: It's a little pricey by Costa Rican standards, but cheaper (and better tasting) than similar restaurants in the US. Worth every penny and I was happy to give this place my business! I've been a Happy Cow lurker for years but finally made an account just to give Garden of Eden a great review (:
