- Best food I have found in 27 years
I became a vegetarian in 1987 and by far the best food I have found is at Isla del Tesoro, Atocha, Madrid, Spain. I love The Spot in Hermosa Beach, CA and Rosetta's Kitchen in Asheville, NC but Isla has by far the most fresh, creative, and tasty dishes I have experienced. There are also plenty of celiac friendly choices for those that suffer. The room is warm and inviting and the staff is fiendly even to those with poor spanish speaking skills. Prices are reasonable and portions perfect. Foodies take note !!
