- I'm pretty sure this place is not vegan
I was quite surprised with the reviews of this place.. Not only it's more of a café than a restaurant, but they only serve one dish each day (soup + main) which is heated in the microwave, from what I could gather. They vegan desserts too. However, and apart from this limited offer, this seems to be a regular neighbourhood cafe serving milk and regular Portuguese sweet and savoury pastries which include meat and fish. I asked the lady if all of that was vegan and she clarified that only the items in display on the right were vegan. I tried changing the marking in HappyCow after this but I see that it's still marked as vegan - maybe they went fully vegan in the meanwhile, but I find it unlikely. Apart from this, the vegan dish I had was good - nothing spectacular, it was home made food.
