  • pleasant surprise!

First time in Berlin (first time in Germany, even) and I was walking down the street looking for a coffee shop and this burrito shop caught my eye. Since the name of it is in English, I wandered closer and saw the "vegan friendly" sign on the window. Yay, they know what vegan means! Inside, the menu was clearly labeled with what is vegan and what isn't. I chose the "vegan burrito" off the menu. You can choose your salsa (all are vegan, the menu said). I chose the smoked peanut salsa. The burrito itself was ready in a few minutes and they brought it over to my table. It was pretty tasty, with a unique flavor that I couldn't quite put my finger on but was a pleasant surprise in comparison to my beloved American Chipotle burritos back home. I would definitely return here again, or visit the other location if I'm ever in that area. A delicious, filling dinner that seemed pretty inexpensive (although I'm not so good with translating Euros to USD). The two staff workers spoke English and knew what vegan meant. A fun find in Berlin, a city with lots of meat, cheese, bread, and sugar. Loved the spiciness!
