• Nice restaurant with yummy veggie choices

This is a beautifully styled restaurant with passion for detail. You can either sit inside and enjoy the handmade and tasteful decoration or sit outside an have a great outlook on the landscape and the sea. You are served by Valentina and a waiter who are both very pleasant. Valentina, the Chef's wife, was very caring and considered all my needs and wishes (vegan, gluten free). They do serve meat, but know what vegetarism and veganism is about and thus have a varitey of veggie choices and are very flexible. They created a yummy menu consisting of a vegetable soup, gluten free bread, various vegetables, tofu and tempeh. If you wish for something that isn't listed in the menu, just give it a try and ask. You will get an individual menu at a very reasonable price. My husband and I highly recommend Mac Jetes and will certainly come back during our next stay in Portugal. Overall, I would give five cows if I could. But ok, five are reserved for veggie restaurants. ;)
