  • Highly recommended!

The restaurant has a great colourful environment. There are few different rooms, but my favourite one was the one with blue walls and a ceiling that was covered with small lights that looked like stars. Also, lamps in shape of tall mushrooms were pretty cool too. It gets pretty crowded so it's good to make a reservation. The food was AMAZING. Very fresh, and while I was scrolling along the menu, I wanted to choose everything. They always have a daily menu too, with soup of the day and other special dishes. The salad portions are pretty big, so go easy with them, I wouldn't count them as a side dish. There are great drinks too and a wide selection of fresh cold (like fresh juices, special salty mineral water good for digestion called 'Vincentka'), but they also have a wide selection of teas. Desserts were great, I recommend eating a brownie. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's delicious, and you can walk in a great area in Prague before or after the meal, the river with an amazing view on the Prague Castle is extremely near. The National Theatre is nearby, and so is 'Naprstkovo muzeum', which is a museum of African / Oceanic / Asian cultures. One main dish costs around 160 Kc (6 euros). The only negative element I felt about this place was the staff. Sometimes they can be pretty nice but not always, forget the grumpy waiters if you meet any. It's normal in Czech republic anyway (sadly). To sum up, this place had simply become one of my favourite places in Prague after being there once or twice. The food is very satisfying, the location charming and the environment unusual - in a great way.
