• Yummy Veggie Sandwich

ZAZA is a fast-casual pizzeria, offering pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and gelato. Vegetarians have a variety of options here, but there are slim pickings for vegans. For vegan options, you will need to make modifications to menu items asking for no cheese/meat. I had a Greek Salad without feta cheese and their Roasted Veggie Sandwich without cheese. The salad was fresh: it was mostly lettuce with a sprinkling of chickpeas, Kalamata olives, green pepper, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and pepperoncini. It came with a lemon-garlic dressing that was okay, but a little sour for my taste. The veggie sandwich was delicious! It had spinach, sundried tomato, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, caramelized onion, and basil and was served on a ciabatta-style roll. There are few vegan options in Russellville and this is one of the better options, particularly if you want something local.
