• Best First Tattoo EVER!

I fell in love with this shop. While I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo I discovered that not all inks and soaps used in the process are vegan. I contacted a different shop that brands itself as "L.A.s only vegan tattoo shop" (which turns out to not be true) and was bullied by the artists. This lead me to find a different artist who was willing to work with me to create the image I wanted. John Saletra at the Tattoo Lounge in Venice also uses vegan friendly tattoo products. Not only was he willing to work with the design I brought in, he was excited to do so. John was excellent about explaining everything to me and making sure I was comfortable with the entire process. I will be using him for all future work. I could not be happier. Updated from previous review on Monday August 31, 2015
