• Amazing tattoo, great guy, vegan ink

My wife has been planning her first tattoo for quite a while. She knew exactly what she wanted. We first called a tattoo shop the advertised itself as all-vegan, and the results were less-than-ideal. Lots of ego, lots of telling her what she wanted, and so forth. Pretty negative all around. Then a friend of ours with amazing tattoos suggested we talk to John Saletra at Tattoo Lounge. Our friend trusted him with a huge percentage of his body, so we gave it a shot. The difference was night and day. John got it immediately, and he also offered to take the time to investigate how all of his ink's components were sourced to verify that they were, in fact, free of animal-based glycerin and other products. And the tattoo was fantastic. I'll leave that part to my wife, who will be reviewing the shop shortly. Nothing bad to say. John's a rock star.
