- Just what Toronto needed!
I am a vegan in Toronto. I've had amazing cashew ice cream in NYC, and a phenomenal vegan ice cream milkshake in Chicago, but have always found our vegan ice cream selection lacking. Until now. Cosmic Treats is just what Toronto needed. It has a diner-ish feel, but in a more up-to-date style. The staff was super nice and let me sample different ice cream flavours. We (ok, I - my husband's order was for me) had a scoop of cookie dough ice cream and a cookies n' cream milkeshake. The ice creams are vegan, cashew-based, creamy and delicious. There was plenty of seating and unique items I've not seen elsewhere in the city, like toppings such as vegan marshmallows. Cosmic Treats was really a treat and I hope others support it so it sticks around.
