  • It's all about choices

Sattgruen is in the heart of Essen. We were there to visit the theatre and the Christmas market, and were looking for some quick food. Usually I am the limiting factor for choosing a restaurant, but not in Essen. We choose Sattgruen to see what it would be like. You can choose three different plate sizes (small, medium, large) and there are two counters with food you can choose from. The first counter contains the 'salads', or rather, anything not warm/hot, because there is a lot more than just salads to choose from! The second one is the warm/hot dishes. Pasta, rice, beans, tofu, cauliflower, you name it, it's there. It's not expensive, and you have a lot of choice (which, for a vegan is not often the case). I liked it very much, and my non-vegan boyfriend enjoyed his meal as well!
