- Amazing food, gluten-free friendly
If you're in Kanazawa you are probably there to see the gardens. Just north of the park, a few seconds away from one of the entrances, is this little gem. The food is all macrobiotic, vegetarian and several options are gluten-free as well. We had the teriyaki "chicken" on rice which tasted great. It came with one of the best salads we've ever had. The coffee was good as well, though it says more about how bad most of the coffee in Japan is. My partner had vanilla chai tea and it was amazing. Their cupcakes are gluten-free too! Wish we could return more often.
