  • Nice, well presented veg Italian

As the others have said, this is a nice place near the sea with a gorgeous view, pleasant atmosphere, and veganized versions of traditional dishes. The food was good, although both my husband and I agreed it was not up to the level of the very best places serving this kind of food in Italy (Terra in Caserta and La Lanterna in Verona are favorites of ours). Worth visiting if you're in the neighborhood, I'm not sure it's worth traveling to specifically unless the menu gets slightly more creative. The tofu sticks were wonderful, the tempura could have used a little more salt. The pasta was fine, but not remarkable by Italian standards. The seitan scallopini were excellent, the mixed grill OK. The menu had items that were vegetarian with gorgonzola, but they were happy to veganize them for us. When we visited in August there was some (paid) street parking in the neighborhood, but once the summer season ends it would probably be easiest to take transit.
