  • A gem

I'm really happy I went here. This place introduces veganism in a country where people think you're either physically or mentally ill when not eating meat. The owner is a great man, an activist within the national animal rights movement wanting to show Bolivian citizens that vegetarian/vegan food is A) tasty, B) nutritious and C) doesn't leave you with hunger. And he does a pretty damn good job at that. During the week a vegetarian lunch buffet is served, most of it vegan. Unlimited, including drinks. It costs about 4 dollars, which might be a lot in Bolivia, but for any foreigner it's nothing of course. The place is trendy and attracts a young kind of hipster crowd. I would stay longer in Tarija just to eat here more often.
