  • Great food, not so great customer service.

The food here is delicious! No doubts about that. It's probably the only place like itself offering healthier plant-based food. We like to dine here when we visit the States. We also bring family and recommend people. However, the customer service is terrible. After noticing they sell a honey product at a self-proclaimed all vegan eatery, I asked if the honey was fake. As a vegan I found this confusing. To my shock, the owner began to reply with emotionally charged messages stating that I was being a hyper critical nitpicker and giving vegans a bad name. She also proceeded to bring into question my age and occupation which is completely irrelevant to the said honey concern. She began to state that she has done more for the vegan movement than anyone in New Jersey. There is a script of other defensive comments. I would have continued dining, referring friends and family even despite the honey issue but not after the way I was spoken to. Aside from my concern as a vegan for honey and it's effects on the environment, I was still a customer and her responses were uncalled for.
