- Vietnamese in Newtown? This is the place.
IMO this is overall currently the best vegan Viet/Asian food in Newtown, and possibly in Sydney. There's nothing novel like you might find at Bodhi or Nourishing Quarter but the food is yum. The beef rendang was the hit of the night for me. And I always thought all fried ice-creams are the same - but they're not - this one had a crunch that left me begging for more. The place is clean, the service attentive, the toilet (like so many Newtown places) has you leave the comfort of the dining room through a narrow path past all the workings onto the back alley, and the prices are fair.
