- A great place, not far from the historic center
I went here in July, 2015 for lunch one day. The meal of the day was 9 soles (about US$3), and came with a salad of beets, carrots and apples, followed by the main plate with wheat berries & veggies + a small salad. A juice drink was also included. They usually put their menu of the day on their Facebook page so you can check it before you go. The place is bright and cheery with nice background music. The colorful interior only has 5 tables, but it was not crowded (perhaps because it's still not well known, having opened in February 2015). It's located in a peaceful part of Lima, not very far from the historic center. Other veggie restaurants are within walking distance, including Qadosh. Also nearby is a large church with a lovely plaza. Although not near the touristy Miraflores neighborhood, it's definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area. Warmly recommended because of the good food and the very nice owner.
