- Good basic food in the Breña neighborhood
This small restaurant has 4 tables and 5 counter stools. It's not located in the typical tourist part of town, but if you happen to be in this area, it's a good choice and the price is right (only 7 soles for the meal of the day, as of June 2015). The day I went, I got a choice of soup or salad, and then a choice of the main plate (I chose the split pea mash with mock meat seasonsed with mild BBQ sauce, and brown rice). As they say on their Facebook page, they make Peruvian food with vegetarian ingredients. I give them three cows for good basic food.
