- A. L. F. wound not be amused
First things first: The service was good and the staff very nice. The food was mediocre at best. The "house made" burger was still cold and the coconut curry was good but boring. For the quality served, I wouldn't refer to the location as "inexpensive". Now for the bad part: First, part of the attractions of the restaurant is a caged parrot, who sits on customers' shoulders for photos and gets fed for their enjoyment. Sorry guys, but that as far as I am concerned is NOT vegan. (Till every cage is empty... remember ?) Second, this whole diner is a merchandise store for the teachings of Supreme Master Ching Hai, whose services are shown on a big monitor in the dining room. I recommend to check out the Wikipedia article on her dealings. Ouch. When we were leaving, I wasn't sure if it was the food or the surroundings that made me feel kind of sick.
