  • One for the hipstafication of veganism

Don't get me wrong, the food is fantastic, and I WOULD eat there again! HOWEVER This place could be classed as another example of the gentrification of East London - I get that rents are high, but £8 for a medium sized bowl is way too expensive. Vegetables are cheaper than meat right? £4 for a tiny pre-made smoothie is ridiculous when you can get a larger one down brick lane market for £2.50. However, you can offset the price if you have both bowl and smoothie for a tenner. The more vegan eating places the better, and we should always support them when we can - but don't forget you're in Tower Hamlets - a poor part of town where half the population survive on benefits!
