Best Restaurant in La Spezia! You don't need and won't want to eat anywhere else! My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and it was one of the highlights of our La Spezia leg. It is hard to portray the feeling of eating here - you are welcomed and served like a member of an extended family. The owner is so involved and knowledgeable about the dishes, she can answer many questions about them. We sampled some of the owners family's olive oil - fantastic! We were delighted to try the delicious local hearty bean soup (It's the reason to travel isn't it? Try the local foods). Some of the dishes are Italian based, some of them modern fusion, but all are suited to the menu. The staff are only too happy to help, we were able to talk to them in both English and French, and got lots of tips of where to go in La Spezia and Italy.
