- Lovely Surprise and Good Food
I was so surprised to learn this pub had vegan food, and upon visiting I couldn't believe there were so many options on the menu! About five main course options, three or four starters and four deserts. We aren't talking make do, typical crap vegan options here either; lasagne, burger, pie, banoffee cheesecake, chocolate brownie. Some really yummy options and I can't wait to go back and try some more of them! I had a sharing bread starter, roast parsnip pie with mash and veg, and the banoffee cheesecake. They were all SO good! And the pub itself is cute, cosy, and they allow dogs (I got to stroke one). An all round great surprise.
