Atom Thai is hands down the best vegan Thai food in Newtown (sorry Thai Pothong!). The staff are super friendly and as the listing says all vegetarian options (of which there are many) can be specified vegan without any problems - it says so right there on the menu! They've even accommodated my vegan requests for non-veg dishes (like papaya salad without fish sauce and some of the entrees with tofu instead of meat). My fave dishes are the choo chee tofu, mock duck salad and mock chicken cashew nut stir fry, but I have tried literally all the veg options and they are all amazing. A must visit!
