- A pregnant vegan mama's Mecca!!!!
We came here almost every other weekend while I was pregnant for treats and to indulge. She uses a lot of local ingredients and everything is so beautifully made and so delish! It's pretty much just a vegan "afternoon tea" sorta place with tons of decadent desserts and teas, coffees and soymilks. The dessert window is always full of new treats to try as she switches it up with what's in season. We'd always grab a few tarts, cookies and cakes and head off to the beach or toss them in the cooler to eat after a hike. We've eaten in only a few times and the owner is super friendly but speaks very little English. The menu is all in Chinese as well but it doesn't matter if you speak Chinese. Even if you don't, it doesn't matter because it's all beyond good and vegan! We've loved everything we've tried from the fig tarts to the homemade hot ginger soymilk. She always lets our dog in which is very sweet when it's 34 plus degrees out in the summer. We came again today after 9 months or so and brought our baby girl ( our baby was pretty much made of Vegan Heaven treats!!) to celebrate Mother's Day and it didn't disappoint!
