- Vegan food near Himeji Castle, lots of gluten free options
This place can be a bit hard to find when walking from the station. You walk through some backstreets, cross the rail line and through a huge car park to enter Aeon Mall via a back lane. However it has delicious vegan food, an English menu and polite staff. A lot of the food was gluten free too. It is worth the walk! We had the almond butter toast, which was delicious. Also the soup was very nice. My friends enjoyed the teriyaki bowl and the curry. The almond butter toast was the stand out. There are also lost of desserts to choose from. I had the matcha cake which was not too bitter, and my friend had a chocolate cake which they enjoyed. I would recommend coming here if you need a feed while visiting himeji castle!
